How this is measured

Scope
Only the Toastie token, from the moment its contract is published on this site. Until then every figure on this page is empty: nothing is estimated or filled in.
Supply and holders
Total supply is read from the chain itself. The holder count, the largest addresses and the transfers come from the chain’s public block explorer.
Price, volume, liquidity
From DEX Screener’s public API, for every pool where the token is the one being priced. Price, FDV and market cap come from the most liquid pool; volume, liquidity and trade counts are added up across pools. While a new pool isn’t listed there yet, GeckoTerminal fills in.
History and trades
Candles and the latest swaps of the most liquid pool, from GeckoTerminal. If our server can’t reach it, your browser asks GeckoTerminal directly.
Freshness
Live: read in the last 5 minutes; this page asks again every minute while it is open. Delayed: a refresh failed, and the last good figures stay on screen with their age. A source that doesn’t answer is shown as unavailable, never as zero.

Limits
Third-party data can be late or wrong, and a brand-new token takes a few minutes to show up everywhere. Nothing here is a statement about value or the future.
