Burnt toast

Contract not published yet

Not live yet Nothing can burn before there is a token. This page fills in by itself once the contract is published on the homepage.

Every burn of the token, read from the chain and reported as-is. A burn that already happened says nothing about burns to come: nothing on this page is a schedule, a forecast or a promise. Toastie is an AI character for entertainment, not financial advice. Full disclaimer · How this is measured

How this is measured

What counts
Two things, kept apart in the “How” column. Destroyed: tokens sent to the zero address by the contract’s own burn, which lowers the total supply. Dead address: tokens sent to 0x000…dEaD, an address nobody holds a key to; they can never move again, but the total supply stays the same.
Where it comes from
The total supply and the balance of the dead address are read from the contract itself. The list of burns is read from the chain’s own records of the token’s transfers.
Original supply
Total supply now plus everything that was destroyed. It is shown only when every burn since the token was created could be read.
Today
The UTC day: from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC, whatever your own time zone.
Freshness
Live: read in the last 5 minutes; this page asks again every minute while it is open. Delayed: a refresh failed, and the last good figures stay on screen. A source that doesn’t answer is shown as unavailable, never as zero.
Limits
A burn shows here a minute or so after it is on chain. Third-party data can be late or wrong. Nothing here is a statement about value or about the future.
